About Dirigo Readiness Group

Founded in 2019, and formally established in 2023, Dirigo Readiness Group’s mission has remained firm: to provide the best possible training, consulting, and support services; education that is grounded in practical application.

Our name and logo are symbolic of our Maine roots. We have adopted the state motto: DIRIGO, which is Latin for “I Lead”. We are innovative in our approach not only to training from the educator’s perspective, but in the high fidelity delivery of real world training exercises.

The North Star and mountains are also indicative of the Maine wilderness and the austere environments and self sufficiency in which our courses prepare students to excel. The three pine trees represent the three pillars of the DRG ethos: Operations, Education, and Outreach. We’re dedicated not only to providing high quality training, but in the development of self sustaining training programs as well. Our Developmental Training Engagements (DTE) provide the groundwork for sustainable programs.

And finally, the shield illustrates our acknowledgment of our commitment to the military, law enforcement and first responder communities.
